Банки як інвестори на фінансовому ринку: роль та статус

Анотація
У статті досліджено місце та роль банків серед інвесторів на фінансовому ринку. За результатами аналізу підходів до суті та складу різних за статусом на фінансовому ринку видів інвесторів, обґрунтовано авторську позицію щодо доцільності віднесення банків до такого статусного виду інвесторів як інституційні інвестори. Доведено, що за основною місією створення банки як депозитарні фінансові корпорації повинні розглядатися на фінансовому ринку саме в якості не інституційних, а корпоративних інвесторів, які можуть здійснювати як портфельні, так і прямі інвестиції в акції нефінансових та фінансових корпорацій.
